Teach me, O Mary Help of Christians, to be sweet and good in every event of my life, in disappointments, in the carelessness of others, lack of sincerity of those in those who believed in the disloyalty of those we trust.
Help me to forget myself to think about the happiness of others, to hide my small sufferings so that I may be the only one left out.
Teach me to take advantage of them, use them so that I tender, no I harden or embitter me, make me patient, not irritable; that make me broad in my forgiveness and not narrow and despotic. Let no one be less good, less honest, less kind, less noble, less holy because it was my traveling companion on the road to eternal life.
Amen.
