Today, with the dishes and silverware, there are many other things 'disposable'. It seems that almost everything can be disposable. So, rightly, is the anxiety you also to you, you change with the same ease with which we jump from channel to channel with the TV remote control. Just as things are disposable people, colleagues, friends, spouses, that look and feel disposable, with no possibility of recycling. However, while everything passes and everything changes, Jesus does not change. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. And always waiting, firm in his extraordinary love for us, and always welcomes us with compassion and mercy, and not angry.
Jesus is as familiar as a relative, because it is the Son of God made one more of our people, our human family. He knows our stuff because the increased raw. Lived poverty, the need to work, to pray, the difficulty to be understood even by their own relatives and friends, was tempted like us. He was persecuted, condemned to die on the cross as a blasphemer and among criminals. But in this process remained the love of Jesus always the same, the process only served to manifest the full width and depth of God's love in the heart of the Son, patient and strong. So, while everything changes and everything is disposable, you turn to Jesus does not change. He is always relative, and family, calling us, forgive, comfort, sending us and giving us another chance to live in love. To Him we are not 'disposable'.
